Hi

Have a re-read of Douglas's answer to your post below.
You (must) have the data as number - or you woudn't need to convert it.
Don't store the converted text, just use it as and when you need it.

Other than a few built-in functions like Date(), Now(), CurrentUser(), etc.
used in the DefaultValue property, you cannot use functions in a table. In
Access, you can use functions in a form or report, or in the immediate
window from a module. You can also use public standard module functions in a
query.

Tables are for storing data and for maintaining the data's integrity. You
should not be directly using them for anything else. Actually, you shouldn't
even be directly looking at the tables after they've been designed.

I also have a similar issue, but I am using it in a form, but I need it to
store it in a cell on the table for later mail merge purposes. When I set
it as the control source, It will not store in the table. How can I get this
function to convert in the form and store?
