How to Verify and/or Change Office Serial Number

I have just had to reinstall MS Vista and all the rest because of serious
anomalies ever encroaching. I may or not have posted a trial serial number
instead of the good'un. How do I verify and/or change said string without
going into theory?

Download Belarc Advisor. that will tell you the number you have installed.
Compare it to the product key for the paid version.
