How to view Video Email sent by Outlook 2003 in Outlook 2000

How do I view a video email sent in Outlook 2003 if I have
Outlook 2000, Windows professional Version XP?

I tried to download the Video Email 2003 Add-in but the
download won't work since I don't have Outlook 2003.

Is there a free update I can do, or do I have to purchase
the 2003 version of XP?

The add-in only works with Outlook 2003 so, yes, you will need to use
Outlook 2003 for this. There is no 2003 version of XP - XP is Office 2002,
Outlook 2003 comes with Office System 2003. There is no free upgrade.

Do you mean that to view the video e-mail, the recipient of it has to have
Outlook 2003 installed on his machine?

Yes, the plug-in is for Outlook 2003, but does one need to have the plug-in
installed in order to see the video in a received e-mail?

What do you see in the e-mail you received?

I think the plugin only uses video in the wmv format, Windows Media 9. Do
you have that on your machine? If not, I would suggest installing Windows
Media Player 9 (a free download), reboot, and then try viewing the video
e-mail.
