the solution from suzanne does'nt solve the problem.when I click the thro tab
and move the clip art to the text it wont wrap round it. It just moves inline
with text top or bottom or in the middle with no text on either side. useing
edit text works ok but still doesent move clip art thro text?
What version of Word? "Through" wrapping suggests Word 97 or earlier and is
the equivalent of In Front of Text. I would think you would want Square or
Tight. OTOH, graphics are not inline by default in Word 97, so this is very
confusing.
I'm useing M.S Office 2003.
When I import a M.S. clip art picture onto a page of text click pic to
enable resize ok
The Word art tag shows
in line with text
square
tight
behind text
infront text
top bottom
through
edit wrap points
By clicking through I should be able to move pic through text with text all
round pic but it does'nt .changing wrap points makes no diff.
any more ideas please.

without result . but then i imported a word doc from a disk which opened in
word and i found i could wrap text all round the picture. So why wont it wrap
when i type text onto a new word page ? when i type a letter onto word page
and import a clip art pic clik to activate pic abox on tool bar opens for
wrapping and lines but wrapping still does'nt wrap all round which ever
option i choose ?
Have you perhaps inserted the clip art in a drawing canvas? Try disabling
the drawing canvas on the General tab of Tools | Options. Also note that if
the graphic is in a text box, you won't be able to wrap text tight.
