How to write a chronology

hi, would anyone please let me know if there is any method of writing a chronology based on some sort of pre-defined applette. thanks

chronology of what? There are no formal stylistic requirements in general,
although there are specific (but not very helpful) formats used for
particular purposes, like medical case histories. Main thing is, whatever
method you use, make sure you can sort your entries by date. Eg, you could
use a table, with the dates in column 1 and the info in column 2.
