How to you find, if the resource is under used or under allocated ?
For example Assume that the resource is working or allocated to wor
only 50%. at its capacity.
Is there any view/report. to identify by this situation ?

I already reviewed the the following view, that reports, "resourc
leveling" is required only if the allocation exceeds the max. unit o
that particular resource.
1. Resource sheet
2. Resource Usage.

Thanks

Hi,

Resource Usage show yoiu the allocation of the resource. By default it shows
Work by time period.
Do you prefer percentages (some do) then right-click on the right part of
the view and select percent allocation
If the resource is aoverallcoatd anywhere in the plan, even if only for few
minutes, it will show in red.
You already discovered the yellow diamond that will highlight
overallocations ove larger periods (period being set in the leveling options
form)

Dear Jan,
Thank you for your response. My question is related to unde
allocation.

How do we find, if the resource is working at it capacity ? If th
resource is over allocated , you can see, they are highlighted in "RED"
but for under allocation, I don't see anything like that.

thanks

Hello KS,

Add the remaining availability field to the timescaled (right side)
of the Resource Usage view. That field will show (in hours) how
many remaining hours of work the resource could conceivably
generate.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi KS

Open 'Resource Graph' view. On the Graph right click and select the option
'Remaining Availability' for the view. You will get a graphical view for
remaining availability on day to day basis.

I hope it helps.
