the trial will eventually require
a purchase if you choose to keep it.
the specialty software requires
some understanding of
a) accounting principles and
b) accounting software knowledge.
my guess is that there is a slight
deficientcy on both items above.
since you likely have created
paper versions of your data,
whether it is in a notebook or
ledger book, then you should
simply use a spreadsheet program
instead of an accounting software at
this time.
with a spreadsheet program
you can transfer your current
data and designs from your
paperwork into it. then
if you make a mistake you
can easily fix it. however,
with an accounting software,
mistakes are usually corrected
with journal entries, credits
and debits.
the big difference will be that
once you input your data into
the spreadsheet then you will
gain the power you are looking
for with creating charts,
advanced formulations
forecasts, etc., and reports....
of course the accounting
software does this as well.
but i would take these steps
one at a time. first starting
with a spreadsheet then
advancing to a more powerful
financial management software,
like an accounting software....
