How would I create an infant sleep log that displays...

How would I create an infant sleep/activity log in excel that displays
a table that would show the following categories/activities (Put Down,
Sleep, Wake) over a time period of 24 hours in a "stacked" (?) type of
format... as in...the 24 hours of the day go across the table
horizontally....with the categories/activities displaying over that
time period.

I basically what an excel spread sheet that creates a sleep log that
looks like this:

Thank you for any help...I'm sleep deprived (hence my request)...so am
looking for a way to track this via excel vs pencil/paper.
