How you i make a line shape perfectly horizontal?

Hold down the SHIFT key as you draw will snap in 45 degree increments. It is
then quite easy to keep vertical or horizontal.

oryviej,
Hold the shift key while you are drawing the line. That allows you to have a
perfectly horizontal/vertical line.

Hold the Shift key while drawing the line shape. That will make it
snap to the nearest 15-degree location, so it's easy to tell when it's
horizontal.

If you are drawing it, you already have an answer. If it already exists, set
its height (or width as appropriate) to 0 - in Word 2007 it's easy to change
on the Ribbon; in earlier versions right click and choose Format and then
goto the Size tab.

Right-click on the line shape and choose "Format Auto Shape."

Under the Size tab, make sure the Height is absolute "0". Click okay and it
should be perfectly horizontal.
