howto change the lay out for the worksheet in the top=A,B,C into .

I would like to change the layout for the worksheet in excel
top=A,B,C and so on.
left is 1,2,3, and so on
I would like to change the A,B,C into 1,2,3, and so on
and keep the left as it is (1,2,3)
It will look like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
1
2
3
4

How can I do this?
