HP Designjet 5500 42" Plotter printing?

Is there a workaround (plug-in) for large format printers? MSPLSR
specifically says the 2003 version does not support large printers. I am
rendering a project 172" x 41" and I am at a loss as to how to take this to
print. Also, I tried to just save it as a TIFF or JPEG and Publisher tells me
it can’t save my project? I did just install the latest Adobe PhotoShop and
Acro 7. Maybe there’s a conflict?

This is valid for Publisher 2003 as well.
