hperlink does not work in footer

Hi, I am trying to use a hyperlink (to the begining of the document) in Word
2003 and it doesn't work. I want to have a link back to the start that won't
move about and be repositioned (from bottom left of page) when general text
in the doc is moved about. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

As you have noticed, a hyperlink in the footer (or header) will only work if
you have activated the header/footer area.

But note that you can press Ctrl+Home to move the insertion point to the
beginning of the document.

Further to Stefan's helpful tip, you can also use Shft+F5 which takes you to
the last point of edit, even after shutdown. Also the web toolbar has the
Back (Alt+Left) and Forward (Alt+Right) arrows that can be used for document
navigation, ie toggling from hyperlink source to hyperlink destination.
Hope this helps
