HTML messed up in Outlook 2007

I created some ecards for a client (html/css) and they are totally messed up
in 2007. They look fine in 2003. Why, since it is html would they display
differently? I mean it's tough enough coding between Firefox, IE and Opera
but now I have to deal with versions of Outlook?
Any solutions besides imploring people to not buy Office 2007?

Designing HTML for a mail client is not the same as designing for the web.
You'll find that pretty much all mail clients don't support the full HTML
and CSS feature set. Outlook 2007 switched rendering engine from IE to Word.

Try designing for a web mail client like Yahoo, Gmail or even worse, Horde.
It's not much fun either ;-)
I keep my mail designs simple. For anything fancy I refer to a website.
