HTML showing up in code

More and more frequently, my HTML is showing up in code. I have disabled my
antivirus software, and many HTML emails are still showing up just fine.

Below is an example of what a few of my emails look like. Can anyone tell me
why this is happening or where I can go within outlook to fix it?

I’m having the same problem since re-installing Outlook when I got a new hard
drive. Some HTML email comes in just fine, other emails come in with the
code, just like yours are. I hope we can get some help with this.

When you see the raw HTML of a message, especially when some messages are
properly rendered, it's usually a sender problem or a problem with some
add-in you're running that is mangling the message.

Hi all!

I had the exact same problem last year...all emails with pictures
(newsletter type items) used to view just perfectly. (I am running
Vista with Outlook 2007) Then early last year certain ones started
coming looking like plain text. I thought the problem lied with the
sender until I checked them on a computer running XP/Outlook 2000 and
they were still perfectly fine with pictures and all.

After spending hours (probably accumulated days worth!) on the phone
with Microsoft on my one and only 90 day free support period, and many
techs, one finally solved it. I am going by memory (I asked them to
fix 3 different issues since I had to waste my only 90 day support on
one of them, I "complained" about the other annoyances I was
experiencing too) but I think this problem was solved by unchecking
the SPA box on the account.

Tools
Account Settings
hilight the account you need to look at and click Change
At the bottom UNCHECK Require logon using Secure Password
Authentication (SPA)

Let me know if this was the solution. I should have written it down
for future referrence so I would be secure in offering this advice as
I have seen this problem listed by others in other forums too.
