Hi.
What are these files that do not come up on a search.
These are Windows system files. Modify your search parameters to include
system folders and hidden folders and set your folder settings to view these
files, and your search will find them.
Hyberfil.sys is created when hybernating the computer. It can be safely
deleted and there's no need to back it up, since it will be recreated the
next time the computer hybernates. Pagefile.sys is the file where virtual
memory is stored on your hard drive. One cannot delete this file from the
root directory while Windows is running. Back it up when backing up the C:\
drive or the entire computer, but it's not necessary when just backing up
recent documents.
And by the way, you've mistakenly posted your question in the Microsoft
Access database newsgroup. Questions on other topics should be posted in
their appropriate newsgroups where experts on those topics are more likely
to answer them quickly -- and correctly.
HTH.
