Hypelinks within a Combo Box

question: can a hypelink work inside of a combo box?

the hyperlink source comes from a table; the user would click on the
hyperlink inside of a combo box and the word document or excel spreadsheet
would open. this is an idea i have using hyperlinks and several combo boxes.

i've had no luck with this design however, this is my first time using
access and hyperlinks.
