Hyper links change after saving

I use Power Point 2002

When I construct a presentation with a number of hyper
links the links change after I have saved it and reopened
it to view. I have checked and double checked the links
but it keeps changing after saving.
Any Ideas? Could I have a corrupt power point prog.
