Hyper text conversion

Can anyone tell me why, when I type in a web address or e-
mail address this has stopped turning to a hyperlink, blue
& underlined.

Version of Outlook???
Which format are you using? HTML, Plain Text, Rich Text???
Are you using Word as e-maileditor???
