Hyperlink from a cell name

Hello,

I have some Excel files to which I´d like to create hyperlinks fro
another Excel file (let´s call this one the "control file").

Suppose I have a cell in the "control file" with a written content i
it, let´s say, "ABC". I´d like to automatically create an hyperlink i
another cell that would open a file called ABC.xls.

In another words, suppose the cell A1 has the text value "ABC". At cel
B1, I´d like to create an hyperlink to the file ABC.xls locate
elsewhere in my intranet.

Is that possible? How?
