Hyperlink Issues - MS Office - This operation has been canceled du

I keep getting this error message when trying to open a hyperlink in MS
Office - Outlook, Word and Excel: "This operation has been canceled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer." I have tried everything I have
found for advice out there and nothing is working. I have tried the
following and still no luck:

- Importing another computer's registry key
- Setting IE and Outlook as defaults
- Re-setting IE settings
- Setting Program Access and Defaults
- Scanning for viruses with my Anti-Virus software (Trend Micro)
- I don't have Chrome or Firefox on my computer - nor did I ever

Not sure if this helps but when I go to the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.html\shell\open\command - and right
click on the default value and click modify, this is what shows in the value
data field: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome"

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this?? I wanted to try everything I
could find online before posting this so if someone can help, I will LOVE
you! Thanks.

That sounds very similar to an error message I used to get from Spybot.
(Open, Advanced mode, IE Tweaks page, uncheck last two checkboxes, restart
computer)
