Hi, I am a 'Visio Professional 2002' User who did not upgrade to 'Visio
Professional 2003' re a range of Microsoft known problems in the 2003 update
re Hyperlinks that they said they would not fix till 2007 version.

I have a Visio Professional 2007 Trial version and again find that apparent
that Microsoft has once again not got things completely right re Hyperlinks
and that using the trial version I have problems with use of Hyperlinks that
are not a problem at all in 2002.

I have below listed details of my first problem which is the simplest and if
it is a problem in 'Visio Professional 2007' then for my use it would be a
show stopper till fixed.

Any help / comments would be appreciated.

Visio Professional 2007 Trial version Nos.

12. 06300. 5000
SP1 MSO 12. 06320. 5000
Version 12. 06215 1000

Action:-

On inserting a Hyperink into a flow chart shape and in the 'Dialogue' box
entering a name for the link in the 'Description' field e.g. 'Click to goto
Procedure xxx/xxxx/0568 Audit and Inspection.' On right mouse click in Visio
on the hyperlink after creating the entered link name shows correctly. Visio
dwg then saved and reopened all still fine.

Problem 1:-

On publishing the dwg., either as a Gif , VML or SVG output web page from
Visio, every time tried the Hyperlink works but the Link Name is NOT
displayed on mouseover of the Hyperlink ---- instead it displays "Click to
Follow Hyperlink".
(This occurs with webpage viewed in I.E 7 and I.E. 8).
I cannot find any other reports that this is a problem and it surprises me
that I can't find other reports?

Thanks for looking.

Hi Please ignore this post and reply to post immediately above in list ( On
posting
Microsoft error message saying 'Error not posted Operators asdvised'.
I posted again minutes later (fortunate I had text dumped in a Word doc)
then found that despite the error message the post was there!
Thanks Brian.
