Hyperlink menu item disabled

Whatever I do, I can't seem to enable the Insert>Hyperlink menu item. How can
I enable it so I can create a hyperlink from one cell to another in the same
worksheet?

Do you see [Shared] in the title bar?

Tools|Share workbook
is where you'd toggle this on/off.
