hyperlink opens wrong program

hyperlink pointing to .png file continues to open in
iexplorer although I have set the file type to open
with acdsee.

This is a Microsoft ACCESS newsgroup. Is this hyperlink in an Access form?
If so, share the properties for the control with us.
