Hyper Over Hyperlinks

I am attempting to use a hyperlink in MS office products that will hyperlink
me to a secure site (that is an https site). I receive the follwoing error
message: "Unable to Open <hyperlink address> A security problem has occurred"

I tested this in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint. This problem occurs
in all these applications, but does not occur in MS Access.

I'm running Office 2002 SP3 and have found some computers in the office that
it works with and some it does not work with. But I have not been able to
find any difference between the machines that the hyperlinks work with versus
the ones that don't

It can be an issue with authenticating to the https
site

If you've updated Office XP (2002) to SP3 you may be able to
use the information here:

Bob,

I also found the articles that you have provided. The first one didn't
resolve the issue. I did not try the second article because it was a
solution for Word 2002 only. I was not eager to change my registry for a
solution that would only resolve the issue in MS Word at best, especially
since I'm trying to get the links to work in MS Excel. Do you have any idea
how to rectify the problem in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word as I'm
experience this issue on all these applications, however I've seen them work
on a few computers so I know it is possible. Unfortunately how did not find
any difference in the SW configuration of the computers that worked and the
ones that didn't.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Wheeler
