Hyperlink Problems

In Design mode I insert a hyperlink that looks like this:

http://W:\Company Documents-Public\Master Product Documentation\Hardware Cut
Sheets\Pivot-Weld On DS 907662.pdf

When clicked in "Fill out this form" mode this is what comes out:

http://w:/Company Documents-Public/...rdware Cut Sheets/Pivot-Weld On DS 907662.pdf

Any Ideas why?

That is the proper form for a hyperlink to make sure that it can be
transmitted across the itnernet properly. If you tried to type your first
hyperlink into IE's address well, you would see the second hyperlink show up
when you pressed "Go".

Ok, So do you know where would be the best place to serve the linked files
from, (when publishing the actual form on a sharepoint site) As it is now
the documents "can not be found" when executing the link.

If you are using SharePoint, create another document library where you can
upload the files. You can copy the links from that document library into
InfoPath.
