hyperlink question

Hey fellas,

I'm trying to find out, is it possible to create a hyperlink
that is set up to link to a file on one of the "special/virtual"
folders on the computer, like say Start Menu, or the "Programs" folder
or "Windows/System" folder to give a couple of examples of what I
mean. The file I really want to target would at that point be under
Start Menu\Programs, and I'm wondering if there is a way to tell the
hyperlink to look for it in that kind of virtual folder instsead of
specifying a hard-coded literal directory path.
