I linked a word doc to a day on a calendar for mlk. When I go to a browser to
test hyperlink a box opens to ask if I want to open/save/cancel. I have
chosen target frame=same frame yet I still get this open/save/cancel box. Am
I doing something wrong? I am using FP 03.

That is the normal default behavior when linking to a "document" from web page.
The system is asking permission to launch Word to open the document.

That's because you're linking directly to a Word document. Browsers don't
display Word documents like they do PDFs; instead, they give you those
options. Which is necessary, because definitely not every computer has Word
installed.

It would be much better to convert the Word doc into a PDF, which will work
smoothly on the Web. There are free utilities for doing that if you need one
(search for "free PDF conversion" or the like).

No, you're not doing anything wrong. This is how the browser behaves. It is
a security measure, as Word documents can contain macros with viruses,
trojan horses, etc.
