Hyperlink thumbnail image to a larger image on same page

Linda H.

I hope someone can help me. I am relatively new to FP
(2002)and am in the process of creating a photography web
site. I have a row of 4 thumbnail pictures and what I
would like to do is to be able to click on the thumbnail
and have that same picture open as a larger picture for
the person to view on the right hand side of the same
page. I'm trying to avoid the viewer having to keep
opening a new window, then closing it for each picture
they view. I hope I am explaining this clearly. I
cannot seem to figure out how to do this or if it is even
possible. The photo gallery option front page offers is
nice but seems to be too much clicking. Any help you can
offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

1. Use the Banner And Contents template to create a
frameset.
2. Put your thumbnails in the "contents" frame at the
left.
3. When you hyperlink to the full-sized pictures,
specify a "target" of "main" (which is the name of
the frame at the right).

You can find an example of this (considerably embellished)
