Hyperlink to an .exe file

Afternoon All.

I've heard this can't be done but I just wanted to clarify it.

What I want to do is set my active desktop as a one page web, with link to programs like excel and access. So when you click on the link it opens the program.

As I said this is only for active desktop and not for the internet/intranet.

Any thoughts ?

Hi Simon,

Use an HTA with automation for the other office applications.
