hyperlink to cd/dvd drive

I have be asked to set up a user interface sheet for a cd/dvd

my plan was to do this in excel and hyperlink to all of the files requiring
opening
because this will be used on several computers with different mapped drive
is there a wy in which i can tell it to use the directory path I have for the
inerface file?

any other ideas/suggestions on how o do this will be much appreciated

I guess I'm not sure what a "user interface sheet for a cd/dvd" is.

Do you mean that you have a CD/DVD drive that is shared, and you want people
to be able to access files from it from various locations using hyperlinks?

Why not copy it to a shared network drive?

Not knowing your setup, can you create a share and refer to the absolute
name of the share (instead of using the drive mappings)?

If that's off-base, post back with more details about what you're doing.
