hyperlink to .pdf closes immediately

Hi all -
I'm sure I created this problem, because it just started happening. My
hyperlinks to .doc, .htm, etc. are all working fine. But anything to a .pdf
flashes open and closed. Did I unset something somewhere?
Help!?!?!?!?!?
