Hyperlink to record in e-mail

Is there a way to add a hyperlink in an e-mail that will
take the user directly to a specific record on a form?

I'm using Lotus Notes R5, so any specific info for this
will be appreciated - but if you know how to do it in
Outlook feel free to post - maybe I can translate.
