Hyperlink with UNC Path

In previous versions of Outlook, if one of my users did an insert hyperlink
and added a link to a file, the file would resolve with the UNC path. This
was handy for our users who were off site and could access the file. However
it appears for Outlook 2007, the hyperlink is always resolved as the mapped
drive letter. Someone working from home or on the road with a laptop
probably doesn't have the drive letters mapped.

Does anyone know how to force Outlook back to using the UNC? I guess I
could try and teach our users to type out the UNC, which is what I have
always done, but I'm suspicious that isn't going to work.

Thanks,

Rick
