Hyperlink within PowerPoint Presentation

I have created a hyperlink on one slide to another slide within the doucment,
but when I click on the hyperlink, the hyperlink goes to an internet site,
not to the page I selected when creating the link.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Links between slides don't work in PowerPoint HTML

Choose File, Properties and on the Summary tab, select and delete any text
in the "Hyperlink base" text field. Save your presentation and Publish to Web
again. The slide links in the table of contents should now be path free, so
the links will work no matter where you put the HTML files, so long as the
main HTML file and all supporting files stay together.

I only had two links, but I found my answer at PP Toos, and posted it here.
Thanks for your response, much appreciated...I was going bonkers for two days
trying to figure this out.
