Our dept is using Windows XP, and our application uses an Access front end
with Mysql back end. We are using a hyperlink in our application to allow
users to link each database entry with a scanned letter in .pdf form. So,
for example, when they look up and see that ABC Company is in our database,
they can click the hyperlink and it will show them that company's business
license. This application has been deployed to about 50 users. We are
having no problem creating the hyperlink to the .pdf doc, but for a handful
of people it will not appear correctly when they go to view it. When they
click the hyperlink to view the .pdf, the doc will flash on the screen really
quickly and disappear.
I'm really not sure if this is an Access question or not. I think it may be
a systems setting. But they are able to view .pdf documents outside of the
Access application.
