hyperlinked presentations

I have several presentations that are linked together. When I come to the
end of the last presentation and go to the black slide, it flips back through
all the final slides of all the linked presentations before exiting the
program.

How can I prevent this?

Each of the presentations, from the sound of it, has been piled one on top
of the next in a sort of a Dr. Seuss pancake pile.

There are two solutions.
1) Do not link them this way. Use a single show that runs each of the other
'sub-shows'. The second show should close and return to the first before
advancing to the next show.

2) Use an add-in that limits the number of open presentations to one.
