Hyperlinking to Specific Excel Worksheet

D

Darryl

I have an Excel workbook with many different worksheets in
it. How can I create a hyperlink in Word that will link
to a specific worksheet. When I create the link with the
Excel file name, it takes me to the first sheet in the
workbook. I can't figure out what language to put in the
hyperlink to designate the worksheet I would like to link
to.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, Darryl. Try:
{ HYPERLINK "C:\\Path\\Filename.xls" \l "SheetName!R1C1" }
The switch after the filename is a lowercase L, not a number 1.
Obviously you can replace Path, Filename, SheetName, and row/column cell
reference with whatever you want.
