Hyperlinks Are Click-able in a Plaintext Message

I run Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.

When I compose an e-mail message in plaintext that includes hyperlinks
(e.g., e-mail addresses, URLs), the links are still click-able.

In Options > Compose messages I have: Compose messages in this format -
Plain Text

In Options > Compose messages > Editor Options, I removed the check mark
from every instance of: Replace...Internet and network paths with
hyperlinks.

Despite all the above, when I compose an email message that includes an
e-mail address or a URL, they are click-able and live. How can I get
them to be just plain text?

They are plain text. Almost every e-mail or usenet client is smart
enough that if it sees anything that has a URI identifier, to make it
into a clickable link.

Doesn't matter about YOUR mail client, it's the mail client of the
recipient. And just about every mail client out there will make URI
text into a link.

What I do in Outlook is to leave a space between www. and the address just like
below. Link will not be alive

www. msn.com
www. microsoft.com
www. belarc.com

What I do in Outlook is to leave a space between www. and the address
just like below. Link will not be alive

Thank you. I'm aware of that little 'trick' so I'll just make it my
habit. Similar to this:

www dot cnn dot com
