hyperlinks disappeared after moving file

i'm working on a project and have found that after copying my file to my
jumpdrive, the hyperlinks within the document reverted to original format
instead of linking to internal & external pages.

When I lived Shelton, WA, I sent my relatives directions to my home.
Last year I moved to Littlerock, WA.
When my relatives follow the directions that I sent them, they can not find
my home in Littlerock.
A hyperlink is a set of directions to the location of a file. When you move
the file, the directions are no longer valid.
