hyperlinks don't change color when clicked

In FrontPage 2002, when I added some links to one of my pages, I notice that
the link does not change color when clicked. The Page Properties -->
Background --> link color has been properly set. The other (older) links on
the page work fine as far as the color change goes. What could be wrong?
