Hyperlinks in Calendar?

Is it possible to insert hyperlinks in a Calandar reminder in Office.
Similar to inserting hyperlinks in Excel. Under the Insert button I only see
(File), (Item), (object).

Select the file in the Insert File dialog, and then click the Insert
button in the lower right.

Thanks Bob - but what about a hyperlink to a folder Name so I can choose from
a number of files in the folder?

Bob - Thanks but the insert file button inserts the file name w/file icon.
i.e., I do not see any path info to truncate.

Bob - I am using Outlook 2002 SP3, (10.6515.6735). I am in Calendar. I do
not see 'hyperlink' as an insert option. The only three insert options are..
(File), (Item), and (object).

Thanks again.

I have never used 2002, so I can't view it, but IF you select Insert,
File, and the dialog box opens, Look in the lower right for a insert
button. That is where the choice is made.

Bob - Thanks - I see what you mean now. The hyperlink option is under the
down arrow tab next to the [insert] button. I inserted the hyperlink path
(w/filename) But when I try to truncate the path with the filename the link
is broken or changed such that the system does not recognize the path or
filename.

Only remove the File name itself leave the last "\". The link should
look like this:

<file://C:\Metafile\>
