Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel this issue started in powerpoint. I can insert a hyperlink in powerpoint but once there and I go to the slide show I cannot make the link react. That is is I set a URL as the mouse click the pointer does not change to the typical 'hand to indicate the active link. I also did same idea but linked a .jpeg to open wher the mouse passed over and same thing, nothing. Same results were optained in word. I have used 3 different mac laptops 1 of which ( my work computer) is at 10.6.3 another I know is 10.6.x and the last at 10.5.x The office build is 12.2.4.

My laptop is a macBook pro with the following:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
  Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,4
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
  Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz
  Number Of Processors: 1
  Total Number Of Cores: 2
  L2 Cache: 3 MB
  Memory: 4 GB
  Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz

Hi,

How long after starting the slide show did you wait? I find that
sometimes it takes a minute or so before hyperlinks become active while
the slide show is running.
