Hi Milly.
Nope, that doesn't work. I tried all the suggestions that had been posted on
the board & the very last one did it. I fixed it about an hour ago. It was an
issue with the "Locate Link Browser". Once I got advice from this site on how
to do that, I located it & all is well. I still do not know why it did it, as
when I went back to the standard Outlook Express, it still worked fine. Only
on Outlook does it have this problem. It also messed up my access to MYOB
accounting. It hasn't fixed that & was fine until the time I installed Office
2003.
Regards,
Rob J

This usually happens after installing Firefox or uninstalling it. A well
known problem.

Hi Milly
Firefox? What is that? I didn't install anything, other than upgrading from
Office 2000 to Office 2003 + SP2, then later installing MYOB Accounting v15
(But it was going weird before that). I had actually restorted to using
Outlook Expresss so I could link straight away.
Maybe, I dread to say this word, it is a "Bug" in the upgrade, as there
seems to be so many who have this issue?
Regards & Thanks for your help.

No, the "bug" exists in incompatible software, installing/uninstalling
Firefox, and myriad other reasons, usually associated to a change in
software other than Office.

No, Milly.
What you don't seem to understand, is that I did NOT install ANY
imcompatible software on my computer. Like I said, I was running Office 2000,
& all was well, I then decided to upgrade to Office 2003 so that my daughter
could use it for school (Publisher etc). THAT is when the problem occured,
NOTHING else was installed between this change, or before. I have never
installed any other softwware apart from Microsoft approved stuff. I have
never HEARD of Firefox, let alone installed it. I am not sure what that is? I
use Internet Explorer & Outlook for my web & mail.
Probably best if Microsoft actually had a real good look at this issue,
rather than blame it on the consumer for installing other componenets. Yes?

Regards,
Rob J

??? Sigh- That was AFTER I had installed 2003 & the problems started
occuring. AFTER, not before.
Man, maybe the hype is correct that you guys will not acccept that there are
issues.
It is a problem with Office 2003, that is all there is to it. Have a look,
if it wasn't, why are there so many posts having the same issue? Also, there
would be 1000's more that fixed it themselves without coming to this site.

I installed MYOB the day after Office 2003 & it was stuffed before that.

You guys have the issue, not me. Microsoft should face that.
