Hyperlinks lost when I autorun a powerpoint slideshow

Oli

Hi,

I've created a powerpoint presentation (Office 2003) and then used the
package for cd option to create an autorun cd.

On one of the slides within the document I have an image with a number
of hyperlinks created over the top of it. To do this I have created
some boarderless (and therefore invisible) boxes and placed them in
particular positions over the image. I then hyperlink these boxes to
other slides within the presentation. This works great when I view the
presentation in powerpoint, and if I save the file as a PPS it also
works perfectly.

However, if I burn down to a CD and allow it to autorun, all of my
hyperlinks disappear - it is as if the image has moved to the front any
pushed the hyperlinks to the back so that I cannot get to them.

I'm so stuck - has anyone got any ideas??

Thanks
Oli

Strange... we was just talking about this earlier today in another forum.

Try changing the hyper-linking boxes that cover the image from
no-line/no-fill box,
to a no-line/99%-transparent-color-filled box.

The one viewer (that is included with package for CD) has some 'issues'
telling the difference between nothing and something that looks like
nothing.
