hyperlinks to emails....

John Gray

I'm looking for a way in the body of an email to put a hyperlink to another
email on our exchange server. So i can pick it and have to take me to that
email, most likely in a public folder. Sounds pretty simple but i can't find
a way to do it....

Thanks all,
John Gray

you can go Insert/Item and copy the email to your message, not sure if you
can "hyperlink" to email messages?

This format will open the message:
outlook:\\Public Folders\All Public Folders\Folder_name\~Message_Subject

You can copy the folder path from the address field in the Web toolbar (you
may need to show it), then copy the subject and add the ~ to it. If your
outlook doesn't create the hyperlink when you press enter or space after
creating the url (2007 won't), copy the full path and press Ctrl+K, paste it
in the hyperlink field.
