Hyperlinks warnings making a mockery of OneNote.

What is the status of the hyperlinks warnings.
I am using Beta2.

If I link a word file to a OneNote page, I get no warning about doing
that. And then I check the link to make sure it works 3 seconds later,
and it's telling me My Documents might be unsafe.

Is it going to tell me this everytime ?

This type of security is NON-sensical. It also ruins meaningful flow
from OneNote to other apps.

Please tell me these won't be in the final version.
They can't be.

== old post, not sure if all this annoyances still persist.
=================
All hyperlinks warnings are present in OneNote 12 Beta1

Many oddities persist:
I get hyperlinks warnings for
(1)local files, local folders

but I do not get warnings for :
(1) folders on my server
(2) files on the server
(3) URL

So .. in summary I can open a strange .htm file on a strange website
with no warning, but opening my own folder on my local computer gives
me a dire warning.

Annoying.

B2TR adds the "Don't tell me this again" option when opening up links.
You should instal it and test it.

/But it might not be compatible with your Drama Queen NNTP software ;)

I will install the B2TR ASAP.
of course, it's odd that this "Don't tell me this again" feature was
added later.

I'm afraid to ask. "Odd" how?
