hyperlinks word 97

I inserted a hyperlink into a Word97 document. I open the document, clidk the
link which goes to the correct site, but word document closes. Word stays
open, but the document closes. I want the document to stay open so students
can go back and forth between word document and web pages. I am using NT 4.0,
Word97 and Internet Explorer 5.5. Any suggestions?
