Can I set hyperlinks/Action Settigns within a few presentations and change
them into PowerPoint Show mode with password protection?

I'm not real sure what you are asking.

Yes, hyperlinks and action settings can be set within any presentation.
Yes, any PPT can be changed into a PPS without change in functionality. And
yes, any PPT or PPS can have password protection. The only sticky part
comes from running a password protected file on an older version of
PowerPoint that does not support passwords (this includes the old viewer) .
In those cases, the files simply will not open.
