I have created hyperlinks to websites in my presentation. When I view the
slide show on the internet and hit my hyperlink it goes to the page but going
"back" returns me to the first slide, not the current one.

Is your presentation also a web page? It almost sounds as if it is... I
mean, normally you'd link from the PPT slide to the HTML web page and then
just close the web page and be back on the slide you started with.

Remember, we can't see what you're doing there, so you have to be very
specific in your description.

If your presentation isn't HTML, then which "back" button are you using?
(I'm thinking if it's an action button, maybe you need to switch to "last
slide viewed.")
