Rename it or replace it with "kos_registration_form.pdf"

And it will work

Hi Spike,

I don't know what is going on. I went to the server and deleted the file in
the download folder and then went to the root folder and deleted and replaced
the pdf file, and then uploaded to the server. Is that not the correct
process as you have explained to me?

I have a meeting but should be back around 8:30 P.M.

You have deleted the bad file from the server
Now, upload the good file "kos_registration_form.pdf" to the downloads
folder on the server.

I can see that you have uploaded a new file but you uploaded the same file
as before...one with the .pdf extension added twice. Go to
http://www.bmbc-lugoffsc.org/downloads/ and look at the file you uploaded.

You have never told us how you are producing your pdf file, but I suspect
that you are adding an extension when the pdf maker already adds one. Go to
your Control Panel > Folder Options > View > Advanced Settings: uncheck
'hide extensions for known file types". Now you will see the extra
file extension you have added to the file.

I really don't fully understand why the option to see the file extensions is
turned off by default. It really makes it hard for people to manage their
files, or even tell what kind of file they are looking at without seeing the
extension.

Well, I think I've been able to correct the matter. The link isn't working,
but at least now it has the right name.
